Botando – Branding

Botando was founded in late 2020 with the goal of establishing a new standard within the soil industry. The Impression Creative partnered with Botando to launch a memorable and compelling brand into the market.

 

The soil industry is saturated with an abundance of different brands, mixes and products. From our market research, we found consumers when shopping for soil felt overwhelmed and confused. We discovered that there was no memorable brand in the market, all products we branded and packaged very similarly, there was no clear tiering system and there was a frequent overload of information on the product’s packaging that was either irrelevant to the consumer or too dense.

 

We were tasked with the challenge of creating a memorable brand identity and marketing strategy. As such, Botando was born. We understand that real soil comes from the earth, not the lab, so we developed a brand that was minimal, humble and true to its purpose. We ditched the big words and confusing marketing collateral and focused on what truly matters, where the soil comes from and how it will enable your living space to grow and flourish.

 

The Botando project is a prime example of the diverse offerings we offer here at The Impression Creative. For this project, we developed a memorable Brand Name and Brand Mark, a unique value proposition and branding strategy, an e-commerce website, product labelling and packaging, signage, photography, videography and collateral all under one roof.
